At the age of 17 our founding partner Reneé Rose was kidnapped at gunpoint. She survived with concepts from Survive, Escape, Resist, Evade training her father taught her. Skills conditioned into him during his 24-year service in the Military, including 3-combat tours of Vietnam.
Utilizing her experiences as the daughter of a retired Naval officer and a Federal Law Enforcement's National Nuclear Countermeasures Officer, she founded the Shaan Saar Group and Shaan Saar Krav Maga. This family business carries forward the professional legacy of protection and threat management, serving as a platform for their dedication in safeguarding others.
As a Criminal Behavior Analyst and Defensive Tactics Instructor she has extensively studied and profiled offenders to aid in creating safety strategies for individuals and facilities. From homicide to domestic violence cases Mrs. Rose has worked with, advocated for, and consulted within a multitude of criminal, survivor and mental health spaces. She is available for speaking engagements and podcasts to discuss her experience as a survivor, how-to begin processing emotional trauma of violence and embark on a healing journey, as well as successfully a professional life after physical, emotional, and financial abuse.
