The Shaan Saar group is a full spectrum professional threat management and security consulting firm, offering both tactical and strategic approach to safety. We are the creator’s of the Evidence Based Self Defense™ and Trauma Informed Self Defense™ systems and professional licensure.

Our educational body is composed of Board Certified threat management and security professionals, extensively educated in their fields including: military, federal law enforcement, Israeli CQB, Krav Maga, and criminal behavior analysis.

We educate on real world scenario physical and psychological preparedness; behavior analysis, conflict management, resilience training and post-incident advocacy.

All educational content is developed by our in-house team of experts with over 70+ years in combined professional experience, teaching and training in self defense, close quarters combatives, behavioral analysis, and threat management, to ensure our students receive the best in stress and field tested concepts.

Featuring indoor / outdoor private facilities, Local and National Award Winning self defense instructors and Orlando’s only Israeli trained CQB, professional threat management, Krav Maga defensive tactics educators, and criminal behavior analysis professionals.

Our defensive tactics methods are rooted in the Jewish tradition of Krav Maga, close quarters combatives, resilience and psychological survival training. The Shaan Saar educational formats are multi-faceted, comprehensive and offer the most up to date education for adults of all skill levels, women only, and youth programs.

Hybrid programs, virtual seminars and workshops allow students from all over the US an opportunity to learn in a variety of formats. From in-person workshops and seminars to on-demand modules we can accommodate the busiest schedule.

Shaan Saar is frequently referred to by clinical psychologists, law enforcement, and the criminal justice system to support trauma survivors, high risk professions for quality defensive tactics training, and veterans reintegrating after deployment. Our mission is simple: to help eradicate violence and exploitation within our country’s most vulnerable communities.
